My Story.

Choosing a coach is a personal experience. Are we a good fit? You decide.

Getting to know your coach is part of the work. Not every detail of their life, but enough to know whether you can trust them with the parts of yourself you keep private. Choosing a coach at this level is a deeply personal decision. It makes sense to take your time with it.

Corporate life.

I supported senior executives across borders, cultures and sectors for 2 decades. I worked with the people who made Tesco, Nestle Purina and The Carphone Warehouse market leading brands. My journey took me through mergers, acquisitions and transitions and I learned about the workings of American and European businesses from the inside.

Discovering coaching.

Born in 2010, my coaching career was the culmination of an energising journey. I always wanted to help people achieve behavioural change, and little seemed to stick from learning and development programmes. I knew that with the right training I had the passion and ability to fill a void.

I started with embodied learning - an approach which takes us beyond an intellectual understanding to something pragmatic and real.

I discovered the power of stuck behaviour patterns, which demand something deeper, from EMDR to Somatic Bodywork or Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing. My approach is human, gentle yet powerful, allowing you to become an inspiring, resilient and effective leader – at home and at work.

Simply me.

No fuss, no drama. Practical and pragmatic. I blend a calm, grounding presence with warmth and compassion, interspersed with lighter moments and laughter.

I believe.

I believe in the power of relationships, with another human being, or with your environment. I believe that almost everything comes back to safety. We are constantly scanning for threat or connection. Through this lens we can interpret most behaviours. I believe we all have a ‘hidden perspective’ - An insight that we can harness to create movement towards change.

Curious quirks.

I’m in a long-term relationship with 1 partner, 2 children and 2 cats. At 16 I knew what I wanted to do, and my sense of purpose drove me to achieve my goals by the age of 30. At 21 I jumped out of a plane with a parachute. I had never flown before. I harbour a quiet thing for flying, recently taking a glider trip. Had I been good at physics, with no aversion to authority, I might have been an RAF pilot. Just joking. Or am I?
